    Hey Husky guys/gals,

Haven't been able to ride the last few months outside of a 10 mile urban jaunt yesterday with the wife on her Triumph to let the Wolf know I hadn't forgotten about it. Work and personal stuff have not allowed a coordinated offroad excursion so....... On a positive note, the Turntech 5A battery fired the beast up in no time after sitting since August. No leaks and the front end is still light when I twist the right hand. Take it easy folks.......

I'm still in the civilized world, just busy as hell getting whirlybirds straight for the next round "over there".... These things are really tired and literally the horses put away wet. Production line stopped in '98 and we're now flying them wayyyyyy beyond what they were originally designed for every day/night.

Just haven't been able to go offroading on the Husky without something popping up. My kids haven't been on their bikes since April :banghead:. Life happens, eh?

Wife's leg is still broken. You wouldn't know it watching her, though. The bones had zero growth as of Sep. so she's now got the stimulator velcro'd to her leg half the day to try to get those bones healing. If that doesn't work, it's back to a redux on the 2 plates. NOT an option any of us are looking forward to; I won't be around when that decision is made and to help out if surgery has to occur. Fingers crossed.

Must get the Husky into the wild once more before February just because..........

    Take it easy

You and your family are in my thoughts. I hope everyone gets, and remains, healthy. And yes please make time to get on your bike before you need to leave again.

Thanks Dean. Was hoping to ride with you and the SoCal freaks again someday so let's keep this thread headed in that direction..... That goes for all of you I had the privilege of riding with last Feb in Baja. I aspire to be able to be that gracious to strangers both domestic and foreign when in unknown territory......(well, unknown to many of us gringos).

I endeavor to to portray our nation as something positive wherever I or my family may be. Sometimes however............................

Thanks for the offers to ride you guys! As you can see from this post date, I'm lagging a bit. I hope to be able to get a ride done in the next few months but who knows? I flew past Eddieville today between clouds and wind generators trying to find a way through the soup from Yakima to Ft. Lewis. Some beautiful, smell the roses, views between the layers of scud while we were carefully counting fuel remaining vs. distance to next available gas with shite wx. Fun stuff........

Kelly, you try to kill me every time we go out, lol. Can't get injured now. I'm a rare bird, so to speak.
