With deep regret, we announce that Justin Barcia will miss the remaining rounds of the 2014 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross season as he will be undergo surgery to correct a chronic ankle issue. Justin stated that he is “so bummed because I felt that I was getting comfortable on the bike and was gaining momentum. I’ve consulted with several doctors and they all agree that this surgery is the only way to fix the problem.” Justin will have surgery this week and at the appropriate time will begin a comprehensive rehab protocol. Justin stated: “I cannot wait to ride without pain and I will do everything I can to come back with a vengeance. I would like to thank all my sponsors who have been great during this difficult time and I want to assure my fans that I’ll be back better than ever.”
