You think it could work in mud? No chance ofhaving that much snow this far south, but we do have some slippery clay when the rain hits.
I rode WR450 Yami with a snow kit on it for a day and it was SUPER fun. That bike was BRAND NEW when i got on and at the top of the first big hill the muffler was on fire. Tough start.
Here's another of the snowbike David Kamo was racing at a snowbike race in Mc Call Idaho this past February. Here's a link to a racereport and better video than I took http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/525/2538/Motorcycle-Article/Ground-Zero-Snow-Bike-Race-Report.aspx
oops....didn't noitce that was a motorcycle-usa report from 2009, no this last February. Some Dirt Rider guys were at the race this year and ran in the Legends race with Kamo, but I've never seen a report of it. Here's another poor picture of Kamo and the Husky (my camera focus didn't like the cold that day)
Sorry.........another post, but I found a link with pictures and video from THIS year snowbike race, and more with David Kamo and the Husky http://www.enduro360.com/2011/02/09/gone-racing/2011-flash-point-snow-bike-race-video/
