I ass-u-me since Motosportz is a forum sponsor, I can do away with all the cloak and dagger nonsense. Kelly, I can’t seem to get you rear rotor guard on. I’ve tried attaching it to the hub and sliding it forward to articulate with the caliper mount, but it won’t mate properly. I’ve also tried sliding the entire caliper mount off the swing-arm, getting it fit then sliding the entire assembly onto the swing arm but the spacer on the other side binds. Now you were spot on with getting the tank off with the dampener in place before, so I know there’s some secret handshake here that I’m just missing… Help me out, I’m covered in grease, I spilled my scotch, my wife just took my wallet and left, and my oldest daughter is asking me questions that I’m ill-equipped to handle. I need help!!
You forgot to kick the dog. You should be able to just slip the bracket in the hole where you took out the axle spacer and slide the whole thing in guard / mount and all. Sold many, have had no one with issues installing it. For an 08 right?
Hmmm... I don't have a dog, but perhaps it's the Scotch (not my brand). OK, I figured if I was having that much trouble there must be something to it other than the fact that I'm a moron, but I guess that about cinches it If I can't get it on, I'll sell my bike and take up something else - maybe politics... Thanks - Chad
Alright, got it on. That picture helped a lot, thanks! I though the "rotor" was that think with all those teeth on it. Fits a lot better on the other side. Thanks~ (Alright, that's it, I need to got off the hooch)
LMAO, too funny, maybe switch to a quality brand of beer? Secretly hoping I don't make the same mistake when I get a disk gaurd
Was that a suggestion for what to do with the grease I had all over myself, or some tutorial info for dealing with my kid??? um, is this "doctor" licensed??? http://www.distinctivetoys.net/products/1914.html
Oh by the way, I got that thing ironed out with my kid. I distracted her by buying a KLX110. Problem solved
Yeah I know – you need more smileys to help convey the proper intonation!! I don’t have enough to work with
