Roger Lee Hayden will wear the #34 at the Indy MotoGP. Riding a Moriwaki Honda in the Moto2 class. Beautiful bike, if you're in to Red, White & Blue. So as usual I'll be an American homer, but a great fight between Rossi & Jorge with a little Pedrosa thrown in would be epic.

Holy Cow  I'm stoked, come on boys This IS the USGP, win one for Ole Glory

No favorites for me, Ben is a great rider & he's proved it, Nick has a championship & Ducati just signed him for 2 more years as Valantino's team-mate. So things are good with Nick. Colin Edwards is the one guy that is in the twilight of his career. It will be sad to see the Texas Tornado, with his wild sense of humor gone. I'd love to see Colin Edwards on the podium at Indy. But in the end, we all know that Pedrosa, Rossi, Stoner & Lorenzo are all in the mix. :D Great racing tomorrow.....

I agree! But...it's kinda weird, too. I mean, #34 means Kevin Schwantz, ya know? It's kinda like when I see another Giant wearing #22. I don't like it because it ain't Will Clark :excuseme:

I really enjoyed watching Kevin Schwantz. It was always crash or win with that guy

Colin Edwards was pitted right next to us at the WERA Grand National Finals in Atlanta in 1991. He was a skinny little kid, probably 16 or so. He raced the 750, 600 and 250GP classes and won every race he entered. He was sponsored by some shop in Texas and they gave him an RC30 to ride...lucky kid! He was incredibly cocky at the awards banquet afterwards, but I guess he'd earned it :) He went pro the following year.

I've always liked him and really wanted him to do well in MotoGP. It's a shame he didn't enter the ring a little earlier in his career.

Very nice...I have the John Kosinski Arai that I still wear, but it probably needs to go up in the closet for safe keeping.

I had a Bubba Shobert, then a Wayne Rainey. I was bummed when I had to replace the Rainey...I loved that helmet! I loved my Arai Haga, too, til it got stolen

Well, Indy has come & gone...Spies made me proud to make the podium, It was a good race, not the best, but a good one.....

Nicky looked like he was having fun on the Ducati dirt tracker....

I still have my old Kocinski Shoei. It's in a right old state, but I could never part with it.

I imagine his team boss was a bit nervous about Nicky putting on the hot shoe again. No worries though, he looked like he was really enjoying himself. That Duke sounds fine too...

Joe Kopp won a mile race in Las Vegas earlier this year on a Ducati...1st time since Ricky Graham's Honda that a non Harley has won a Grand National Mile event....That would have been mid to late '80's????

Kocinski had a nice Woods Rotax dirt tracker with lots of bling.....

    Great Video, thx!!!

When Nicky gets done with MotoGP I could see him coming home & racing a little dirt track, look at that smile....:D

Best Spies pic I've seen from Indy...The Texas Blur

    Wonderful pics BadMotoWeazal!

I guess it's going to be a strange season for Nicky next year. Rossi will bring a lot of expertise (and sponsorship) to Duke and Nicky will have to fight tooth and nail to make sure the bike suits him too. But the guy is a fighter - he proved that at Indy by pushing as hard as he did after he ripped his knee slider off on that drain. That had to hurt...

If he does go back to the dirt ovals then that would make a lot of people happy, but I'm sure he's not done with GP just yet.

I'm with ya...Nick & Vale get along great & with J. Burgess coming to Duc with Vale it can only help Nick too. They were good teammates back on the Honda's & I'm sure not much has changed....When they go back to 1000cc bikes in 2012, Nicky will show a lot of improvement because it is ore adapted to the way he rides. Remember how fast the Ducati was at 1000cc. Rossi made a public statement about wanting to get rid of all the electronics & traction control on the bike & I agree. And when Valantino talks MotoGP & Dorma listen
