Take that KTM...
As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!
The jump at 1:02 - 1:08 looked like the TR650 might have bottomed out the suspension.
Ummmmm...yeeeaaah....Take that KTM...
I'll go with this... perhaps the SM630 would be more comparable?......I failed to see how anyone could deem the bikes comparable...
Ok, now after watching that video I am definitely dedicating more time to wheelies!
really?? I find it dead easy to get it in the air... better than a lot of other bikes I have owned.....Yeah, those guys make it look EZ, I have a hard time getting my TR650 vertical in 2nd gear.

Smaller Counter sprocket?Heavy bike, slow reving makes it harder for me to get the front end up. My TE511 is a wheelie monster and i can wheelie that thing everywhere. 4th or 5th gear wheelies at 45-50 mph are no problem but very hard on the TR650. I can get it to wheelie EZ in 1st, 2nd takes some good tugging and third is nearly impossible.
Smaller Counter sprocket?
Coz those are BMW's... and all that stir with selling Husky to KTM is not helping... I still am curious, why I'm still the sole TR650's owner in this country...Even with the terra, GS models are still selling
Feel safe my friend, these bikes rock, too may riders having fun for them to be a dud. I think it's a Cococola strategy, buy it to control the competion. May become the shortest model run in history but I don't care, this is a superior steed.Coz those are BMW's... and all that stir with selling Husky to KTM is not helping...
