Yep, been running white ones on my 310, they look pretty frickin cool! Use the GASGAS ones tho, they unclip at the back for easy removal
What model KTM did you get the ones on your 310 from? I think 310s have the same forks as my WR, so they ought to fit mine too. How do the KTM pieces install? Do you need to drop the fork out of the triples to get them on? Motoplasticsus has a set of black guards for 2008 KTM EXCs for $30: http://mysite.verizon.net/motoplastics/exc08.html I already have one broken one on my WR, maybe I should try those...
If you use gas gas items you can get them in red blue white, friend of mine went red while I went white and I prefer his to look at The ones that clip together can rub the forks a lot more than the full moulded items as they dont stay perfecly round
Pretty much all KTM and husky fork guards have the same bolt pattern im pretty sure, the later model KTMs (08 onwards?) have the wrap around guards. They fit on my 06 te450 and the 08 txc450 too. I got mine from polisport, very strong once bolted on and seem to rub a lot less on the forks than the stock ones i think and they work perfectly with the husky brake line! I have also heard that Honda ones fit too.
Very nice. Pre 2009-2010 forks are 50mm Zokes rather than 48mm KYB, will those fit the 50mm units? Also do you have to drop the fork to fit the wrap around ones?
A friend of mine sent me the picture so I don't know the details. I assume they fit on the kyb forks.
Yep, fit on my 13 txc with the kyb's and my 08 txc with the 50mm zokes. You do have to drop the forks if you get the genuine KTM ones, the Gasgas/polisport ones unclip at the back so they just slip on and clip up.
