Just about ready to finish up a fork service, but I can't find the oil height anywhere. My service manual has the info for the Marzocci forks only :(.

Does anyone know what the recommended height is for the open chamber KYB's?

You can run anywhere from about 150mm to 80mm in the OC KYB. I normally set them about 125mm, but some faster guys like 100mm.

i run about 110mm for light springs up to .46 then 115-120 for heavier than that based on feedback.

but- if you know your set-up and have a lot of info on where you ride the most by all mean CALL Zipty for some good dope!

Thanks. I set them at 95mm and installed .44 springs. I think the springs might still be a bit light, but the extra oil might help stop some of the bottoming. We will see if the snow ever melts.

These forks are very easy to work on, so easy to go back in if I need to.
