About every-time I compare the 450s and the 250s lap times, it's usually hard to see anything slanted towards the 450s ... Seems this track with all the sand and uphills, the 450s would have a big advantage but the lap times are about equal, excluding Eli ..
Yep and those are average lap times. I wonder what the fastest lap times show. I know indoor the 250's often run as fast or faster lap times too. My friends probably won't admit what I figured out long ago......the average rider is faster on a 250 than they are on a 450! I know I am. Heck at our MX club my son turned in the fastest lap times on his "slow" 2010 Husky TC250. Just proves an average rider is going to go as fast as they are comfortable and more power doesn't mean more comfort and spinning ain't winning .
2 seconds a lap faster is actually a good bit faster and equals over 40 seconds faster at the end which most would say is a big margin to win by.
Only argument is the 450s run after the 250s so.the track is 36 minutes x 40 riders worth more chewed up than the 250s rode on,
But well said about the huge deep uphills and long straights point taken, 450s are just monsters even stock in my opinion. 250s esspecially tuned to the level those guys have are really quite impressive. They are everything you meed
You guys make some good points but I just don't see how it is possible to run so close to a 450 on a 250. Guess it's lots of wheel spin lose ..
Plus the 250s are on average a little lighter and are able to make some pretty good power while revving faster.
