Hey everyone, so my Husky CR125 chews heaps of fuel. 2 days of riding and went though about 30-40 litres or fuel. Anyway, using that much fuel isn't the issue just the repetitive fueling up is whats annoying, and worrying whether or not ill make it back to the camp site before running out of fuel.

I've been looking at tanks, but they are rather expensive, but i am after some recommendations for good tanks. Also wondering if a larger tank will weigh the front end down a bit more? Seems to get a bit twitchy in gear 5-6 pinned down dirt/sandy roads (but what do you expect from a 125!?) I was also wondering if a LR tank that'd suit a TE/TC would fit my CR as they do share a similar/same frame?

Now to my second question, has any fitted a front light to their bikes? was it a hard and pricey task? I only want a front headlight set up on it, not indicators or a rear light or horn. Also, wouldn't mind having a kickstand on it, recommendations for that would be much appreciated too!!

Thanks to everyone that takes their time to answer much appreciated!!

I'm running an oversize IMS TC250 tank on my '10.I found it used for a good price on here. I think you just need a 09 and up. The wr tank s larger than the cr. I have never found mine to be twitchy, I do run the forks up in the clamps by 5mm. I had a steering stabilizer but removed it as the bike was so stable. Can't help you with lights but, I think you would have to change to a wr ignition with a lighting coil. I'm sure someone would swap. Otherwise you could use an LED and just install a small battery, not a motorcycle type more like an rc pack.
