    oil level

Make sure your breather hose is clear. My 430 will do the same thing if I put too much oil in it. Drain your oil and put the measured amount in from the spec sheet, sorry dont know off of top of my head the amount.

Found it- 1600cc, I use a 50wt truck transmission oil, clutch works good and has good shock load resistance for the gears. My opinion only.

The original output shaft bearing is a sealed unit, but the shaft itself does not seal as it passes through the bearing and it is not a tight enough fit to make a seal. The oil will weep/wick past the seal at this point. I never understood why it did not include an o-ring at the shaft-bearing interface. I have tried sealing with Loctite 271 during assembly with catastrophic results to the right side case half. My conclusion from that was the shaft needs to have lateral movement available. So the solution already mentioned though not perfect is what is available. Do not overfill. I fill to the lower fill mark with the bike level. I have a slight leak only when running.

one quart of 20 50 Wt, 4T oil..works great with wet clutches,
they didnt cut a o ring groove as it would weaken the shaft,.
to bad they didnt use the same common since on the 91 and up kickstart shafts, they cut 2 grooves, and they bend, and break all the time,,i have 9 bent shafts from my 610.
until i used a 88 510 shaft, it bent easy with a swift kick, and set me back 100.00 every time.
Husky used regular sealed bearings, and they will leak after a while, how many years has that bearing been in??
when i rebuild , or replace a sealed bearing, i get cuastic material bearings..they last forever,
i just rebuilt a water pump in a 86 Husky..used those same type of seals, likely it will last longer then the bike will.
    also.
when changing forck seals , i use the same type of seals,,they will last forever, as long as you keep dirt from building up...just clean them after every ride..
my 67 Viking was rebuilt in 96, the guy that owns the bike now has never had to change the forl seals, and the bearings are still running strong,.i hate leaky motorcycles..

Thanks guys, I changed the bearing for a new sealed one and was fine for 2 hrs running after that just run out all over my workshop floor, my other 430 that ran at the same meeting is fine, must have been a bearing with poor seals.
