Most all of you have read the APT and Lectron posts. All really good stuff. In my testing I am finding the Lectron, as sent with no adjustments other than idle have produced results as good or far exceeding all the reworked PWK and TMX TMXX carbs I have tried. I believe in this carb, find it makes my bike have super smooth yet more power and flat works. I have a great feeling after talking with my contact at Lectron we will be well served. As such I sighed up as a dealer and had long conversations about our husky needs and other manufacturers needs as well.

I will be getting a pile of these and some parts ASAP.

Some bullet points that I think are a good starting point as to why someone might want these carbs...

    - Cost. Inexpensive and nice features.

    - More power

    - More throttle response

    - Super SMOOTH metering. After you ride with one of these carbs you will notice how confused and a mutli jet and needle carb feels when moving from one circuit to another. As the Lectron has one main circuit there is not crossover just smooth seamless power. It is addictive.

    - Better MPG (will be keeping records to see how much. I bet 10% plus is not out of the question.

    - Altitude compensating.

    - Super EZ adjustment (if ever needed) Simple move the metering rod up or down to affect low and mid speed fueling.

    - Flexibility. The metering rods are super flexible and adapt for conditions bacause they are very load / draw sensitive. Additionally if you ride normal terrain but one day say, "hey lets go ride dunes" and we all know that means 2-3 steps richer on the main you can simply twist the knob on the power jet and get the more top end richness needed. Simple, no tools.

    - Bolt on and enjoy. We (Motosportz) are working with the good people at Lectron to make these a drop on and go proposition for the huskys. Right cable guide, right bell size, right metering rod set to the right position. Bolt on and go.

I am also working on a demo program so people can try the carb on their own bike and decide. this is a week or so out.

I will be updating our website for online ordering when I get all the specifics ironed out via info I received today.

Been holding off on Carb mods till I figure out which option sounds the best. Wasn't too crazy about the standard fix of a Keihin, sort of interested in the JD kit, like the idea of the Lectron too.

I really like the Demo Idea... This way no one has to commit to the purchase before they know what they are getting. Will the Demo have a cost other than shipping both ways?

No cost other than shipping. Might set it up so they can just keep the carb if they like it. Still working logistics and details.

I have to say, I'm freaking sold on this.... It's just a matter of getting disposable funds for me at this point. I KNOW it is a worthwhile mod for me. I have never hopped on anyone elses bike, and liked it as much as I do your bike in it's current configuration. When trying someone elses bike, I always think about what I like, and realize what I don't like, and ask for mine back in 1-2 miles.. I could have ridden this setup all day, then brought it home and kept it.

The 165 with the Lectron is silky (or silly) smooth.

The other thing I don't like is dicking around with jetting. I mean, I'm just starting to understand what my bike is asking for when it is running, but don't like working on it. I really like the idea of having it shipped setup for my particular bike, making MINOR adjustments (if needed), then never touching it again. I also like the fact that if I am having issues trailside, I can eliminate water in the carb immediatly, as I know the vents won't suck it in.

Water can get in the carb but as it has NO jets to plug up it does not affect the carb. It will ether sit in the bottom of the bowl or get sucked through.

36mm. These are said to flow more. I have no issues with my top end with the 36. Also the metering rods will be the same as the 125's and 250's actually have pretty much the same jetting stock.

Is the bell size for airboot and manifold boot the same between the different model years? My 2008 CR125 had the TMX versus the newer 2009+ having the shorter TMXx. Just curious since the website link shows the 2 sizes but not any model year identifier.

Thanks for setting this up. Also, the demo program will be great!
