Hi everyone I'm new to the husky world. I bought a 2014 wr300,after alot of reading I ordered a lectron. I installed it tonight and the shock is right up against the intake boot. Does any one else's do this? Also the new throttle cable hits the frame right above the carb. so if anyone else has seen this. Help !!
    Thanks Pat

who did you order from? it should have come with a 90 degree cable to clear the frame...sorry, i dont have a pic of mine but it clears by quite abit..mine is installed on an older 95 but i gave the measurements of my old carb and the fit is close to perfect.

Mine easily cleared the frame on my 2011 WR300 when I had a Lectron installed for a short time.[IMG]

either way, take the cable out of the rear head stay and let it run up the side of the frame as in dirtdames pic...looks really mashed the way it is now

did you get that from me? Cant tell from the screen name. Yes run the cable up next to the frame as shown in posters examples above. Do you have a picture of the carb out of the bike (want to see the ends).

Well that was stupid of me, I ran the new cable exactly where the old one was (in between that engine mount) I moved the new one to the left side of it and it's perfect. I just have to tackle the air boot issue now. thanks for the help!

The Lectron I bought was cut down more than the first ones that were sold and fit without squishing the air boot.

From the picture it looks like a none cut down version.
