Hello all. I'm new to the forum and the Husky brand. Coming off a 12 GasGas 250. Picked up my first ever new bike, 2016 TE300. Been wanting a Lectron forever and am ready to pull the trigger but wondered if anyone has one on a newer 300. Any fitment issues, other issues?

Everything I have ready has been very positive.

Located in PA 30 minutes north of Pittsburgh.

    Any feedback is appreciated.

Just put mine on yesterday, same bike. Fits perfect, you will need a longer throttle cable, Slavens can get you set up. I haven't really rode her yet but throttle response is very crisp and the first start after installing it fired up faster than I could remove my thumb from the start switch.

That's who I've been talking to. Seem to be good people. Torn between the carb or re valve the suspension. I don't want to mess with it. Just install and ride. Let me know how you like it once you get a good ride on it.

Just call Lectron, great customer service and very knowledgeable.
You should get the proper cable with the carb! At least both of mine came with a cable.

I agree with both counts. These guys even know which metering rods ship for which bikes without having to look it up. They seem to take a great deal of pride in their product.
Mine also came with the correct cable.

So i pulled the trigger. Got the carb, cable, and metering rod adj tool. Slavens Racing was great to deal with, I spoke with Alec. Answered all my questions. Will ship today so i'm hoping to have it for the weekend. They said bolt on and go. No adj needed. Here's hoping. Thanks for the replies fellas.

Did you get the 36mm powerjet? I love mine so far. Install, start bike, adjust idle and go ride. Done
I used the motion pro t3 cable I already had, worked perfect, I just needed to mention it when I ordered so lectron could machine the carburetor appropriately

I got the 36 with power jet. I hope mine is as simple as that. Reveille how long have you had it?

McKay, I would assume the cdi would have something to limit the revs. I hope you're not having issues.

When I spoke to slavens racing they said no need. Install and ride. What I plan to do.

I used a motion pro t3 slidelight in the stock length routed the same as oem. I think some reroute the longer cables in front of the bars and down the left side. The stock routing works just fine for me on the 300 and 501. No issues

So I got it up and running. Had to go 1/2 turn in to richen. Was acting like it was running out of gas. High rpm bogging. Seems good now but I'm not sure how drastic a half turn in is. It's responsive now. No hesitation or bog and no spooge. I hear something when I rip sounds maybe like the piston. Wondering if its the older gas or still lean. I tried another qtr in and it seemed to bog coming out of the corner in second. Thoughts? Gonna call lectron tomorrow. Also not sure if I need to adjust the power jet now that I richened the rod.

The PJ only affects 1/2 throttle and up. It doesn't need adjustment just because the rod was adjusted. I think 1 turn out is default and safe, adjust 1/8-1/4 turn at a time.

what steve said...also adjusting the rod mostly affects half throttle and down..especially idle and low end. to alter top end you have to go to a different rod with different first number, or adjust power jet.
