Hey I see the bolt is missing on the midpipe mount. Troubles getting it to fit? My Akra system was kind of a pain to fit, took a couple tries to get everything lined up and where it should be..

NAh, seems to be lined up nicely... Just forgot :) The system comes with Dzus type back plates (but with thread not QR) so you just slide the plate on and should fit perfectly, same system for the mid carbon piece, although the LHS one WAS a bit of a pain to get right as very tight.

With doing the carbon, a bit of decal stuff on the front mudguard (not pictured sorry) it just slipped my mind on the mid-pipe bolt. :)

ahh, I see. Ya the akra has the same slip on nut for that part too.

So when are we gonna see the other carbon goodies you're working on?

First is the frameguard also in picture mate, will be a couple of days before i get round to the other side. I'm still debating the next carbon components as i'm not sure when is time to carbon and time to stop. I don't want to overdo it and make it look ridiculous.

 Thats a good life question. But usually your wallet is the one that will answer that.

Juicehall has lower radiator shrouds made from carbon. They look good on the bike. Maybe just stick to the frame guards, and get an engine guard (the one that goes by the oil filter cover) and see how that looks?

I bet it would look good with carbon frame guards, engine guard, pipe gaurd, and lower rad shrouds.. But thats a lot of money!

Sweet! Where did you get the frame guards? Looks like the same mounting point as my '04. Through the master right?

Wave Racing in Italy. Good bunch of lads although slow delivery if i'm being harsh. Preice for both sides was <$100 in your money which made them an easy choice. Mount points as described yes. I do need to remove them and put a bolt in one of the MC mount holes though as i was just trying and testing today.

Was a little concenred by the top mount point as it's one of the subframe mount bolts so would like it ideally a bit more torqued than the carbon allows. I guess what i need is a top hat spacer to space it slightly and still give me the torque on the bolt i want.

Looked at my bike ('04's never had guards) and see what you mean about spacing the upper 8mm bolt. Question about the left side. Are the 3 mounting points subframe, upper chain roller tab and kickstand bracket?

never did the left(i do have it here, i never bought just 1 side lol), but had a look, i think Subframe, kickstand 1 and kickstand 2. 2 points, not 2 kickstands ;) bottom one is just by 1 end of spring/backet, top (of the 2) is at other end of spring.

Thanks for the tip Weeksy. Emailed them last night and responded quickly with a price including shipping. Also going to get the flex carbon mudguard. By the way, you have a nice looking ride!

Do you guys need pics of the frame guards and how they mount? I can snap some pics of the guards, hardware, etc tomorrow evening after work if need be..

Oldskool, your frame bike is almost the exact same as Weeksy's. The major difference is bodywork among a few smaller changes. So you guys share the same frame guards..

    nice

Wow looks nice!, I have also decide to purchase it for my SMR 510 2006. Next week i will receive it..
The shoop gave me price and recomended this two exhaust:

Leo Vince full titanium system = 570€
    http://www.leovince.com/es/catalogo...o_racing_motocross_supermoto_tc_450_2006/8446

    Devil doble = 1.600€
    http://www.devil-exhaust.com/HUSQVARNA~450 TC-SM-SMR~2004-$07.mx-sx-supermoto.exhaust

I leave the doble devil for future.... may be....

Just ask you your first impressions about it, does it improve the medium-high as they say on Leo Vince website?

Unknown mate, it's just above freezing here, so the odds of me going out on it are very small. I did run the bike up to check for air leaks etc, but that's as good as it's been up to now.

J.R. if you could post up a few pics of the left side I'd appreciate it. My only concern would be a difference in the kickstand brackets. No sure what year they changed them. Although Waveracing says they have them for all models.

Your kickstand should be the same but even if its not, it wouldn't make a difference since the frame mount for the stand doesn't change. If that makes sense :D I'll get some pics this evening

    Installation

Hi! Yesterday i collected my Leo Vince same model for same bike as you and i am getting fool with the installation.
The part of the Silencer it is imposible to fit it, there is not enough space with the shock absorber bottle, the motor and chasis.....

Did you remove the shock absorber? Cause i think i will have to....

(Sorry for my english...i am from spain...)

    Thanks

Sadly my Husky is no longer mine. Stolen over the weekend so never even got to ride it ONCE with the Leo Vince exhaust ... i'm an unhappy boy.

Weeksy, that totally sucks! I feel for you bro. Low-life thieving bastards:banghead: I know you put a lot of work in that TE. I recall seeing a pic where you had it chained up. Did they take the wheel off, cut the chain or what? I bought a trailer last year and I ended up thinking like a thief. I was overlooking so many ways my bike may be stolen. I bought a big ass hex link chain by OnGuard and welded a huge eye-bolt to my trailer. Also bought a wheel lock for the trailer.

Wish you luck on a recovery!
