Thinking about putting the Leo Vince on my 09 TE 610, and noticed the online retailers only list it for the SM610. Am I correct in assuming this pipe also fits the TE610. Also, any suggestions on who I should purchase it from.

    Thanks for your help.

Heh. I'm glad motostrano fixed that page so the description is accurate.

Also note that user "cobweb" found these mufflers for 80 bucks cheaper at pipe city, and their customer service is apparently way better:

The single best investment a te610 owner can make is a Leo Vince full titanium system. Bike looks great, saves weight, is no louder (with the bung in), runs cool, sounds heaps better and power is cleaner and punchier throughout the rev range - I know they are not the cheapest around but it's worth every cent in my opinion. I own a 2009 te610 btw. Yes, the sm610 is the same.

The one for the SM fits the TE. Just put the Enduro model 3552 on my 08 TE along with the power-up kit and very satisfied. Engine is much smoother in all power ranges with no "decel pops" like it did before. Also, I would say it seems about 10% quieter than the stock pipe. This was a nice surprise, because everything I had read on the internet seemed to indicate it would be louder. Might be the difference between the motorcross and enduro version. Comes with 4 inserts. I used longest drilled insert with the spark arrestor.

Quick question, anyone know if you can buy a Leo Vince exhaust without having to
buy the muffler. I already have a LV slip-on muffler. Actually here's my situation, I clipped
a log while riding a couple months ago and mangled the front heat shield and also put a small hole in the pipe right about where the heat shield bolts on. I'm wondering if it can
be welded or if I need to get a new pipe. I got a new heat shield but that piece that is
welded onto the midpipe that the shield bolts on to is a little mangled. Is it possible to
just buy the midpipe? Any advise would be helpful.

I would just weld it up. Find a local stainless steel capable shop. Easy repair and far less cost then buying aftermarket headers. You won't likely notice any performance hit, your wallet will be happier.

Thanks K7MDL, that's what I'm going to half to end up doing as it's a couple hundred
just for the midpipe alone. So unless there's someone out there with a spare 610 exhaust
sitting in their garage that would be interested in selling the midpipe or the whole thing
minus the muffler for a reasonable price ??........then I'll be looking to get it welded.
Appreciate the input K7, Jerry in Sac
