I met some riders(from Europe) while coming back from Moab who had just completed the TAT and were heading to Oregon to finish their trek. We hit it off pretty quick since they had spotted the Husky in my truck.

They are looking to store 2 or 3 bikes in the SF/Bay Area from the end of August until Feb. 2010, when they will be returning to ride south and do Baja.

I told them I would post up to see if anyone could help or knew of a good place to store their bikes (2 or 3 KTM 640's). I know they are willing to pay for a secure place so if anyone has any ideas let me know.

I think they are open to anywhere in the Bay Area, but the closer to SF the better.

    Thx, CKPC

I'd love to help them out, but my garage is packed to the gills.
As it is, my 2 streetbikes live in the backyard under tarps :(

Maybe I should sell a few...

Wow...you can park a car in your garage?? Lucky dog!

We have a single car garage. It contains a work bench running the length of the garage, 6 dirt bikes, a KTM LC4 and my SM610. The cars park on the street.

Hell, if I lived in the Bay Area, I'd make the kids sleep outside under the tarps and keep these bikes in the house for the extra cash!!

That is an excellent idea! Only one problem, though...I am child-free.
I did very graciously offer to keep my 610 in the living room so that my streetbike could stay in the garage, but for some reason Eric declined my offer.

I'n not in the Bay Area but I could probably find room in my garage
for two bikes. Three is doubtful. If nothing else comes up and they don't
mind driving an hour and a half to Sac I could probably work it out although they may have to discuise their bikes as my Husky gets
pretty mean when he's around orange things. You know how those furry
    northern dogs can get........ Jerry

Thank you to those that offered to lend a hand. A member of our site, who also knows a thing or two about Baja, offered up a spot in a storage space and I think it sounds like it should work out fine. Thank you!! Cafe Husky members come through!!

"We are very happy about the friendliness and help here in the USA. Now we are in Bend Oregon to get an airfilter for the 990 KTM. We have a lot of fun on the Transamtrail, it is great to see the different areas and ride offroad here."
