i like the 6th gear and i have owned and commuted on an xr600 so.. i am assuming it has a cartridge fork like the xr and a similar rear ? it looks like it's easy to add an fcr/tm pumper as well thanx
Yes it is a showa cartridge fork. Nice broad transmission. They are good bikes but like any bike that is 20 years old condition matters.
the condition should be good as the motor and bearings were just done .... i am waiting to hear from owner i just sold an ktm lc4 and do not understand why they have no 6th gear as well as my xr6 and i need to carry a f/sproket in case i hit serious dirt
i talked to the owner and realize i need to get/build some kind of baja kit to make this a usefull backup commuter as it only has a headlight and tailight need to do a little more research
I put a Baja Designs kit on a '93 and a Malcolm smith kit on a '95. They probably don't sell a specific kit for a '94 anymore. Currently, I like the looks of the Tusk universal kit. Turn signals, brake/tail light and horn run off external battery so you can leave the stock headlight AC and don't have to cut into your stock wiring. I would rig the tail/brake light to run off the bikes AC power with the headlight. You'd have to charge the small battery for the LED blinkers and horn, but the charge should last a long time. https://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/p/1156/26724/Tusk-Motorcycle-Enduro-Lighting-Kit
