It seems that Husky put a cush hub on the TE610s for some years previous to 2006. I read somewhere that one just needs to change the bearings to make it work for a later model 610 (2006 SM in my case). I took a KTM cush hub for a 525 (woodys wheel works) but I think a stock cush from a 640 would work too. All that was needed was a bearing swap to match the inner diameter to the axle.
