    got a 2011 wr300.

put in new bearings and seals and shafts and my linkage is still loose.

looks almost like its the bolts that dont fit (too small OD on the bolt?) the ID of the new shafts that come with the bearing kit.

    used a moose/allballs kit.

    any thoughts?

Is it one joint, or all of them?

Try to go with Husky bearings

Just put headset bearings/races in my bike. Received a Moose kit.
Bearings and seals were to small, but races were correct
Ended up getting factory Husky bearings and seals, and used the Moose races
Bill's was awesome, they were like, just get it back together, and ship us back what you didn't use

Did my link last winter on a wr250, measured the bolts and yes they do show a little wear along with the mating interior surfaces- a used bike is a used bike- depends how 'new' you want it to be again. I use anti-seize on everything I assemble and have grease fittings in both sides of the s-arm, 2 in the link, 1 in the lower shock bushing as well as the rear brake pedal. I grease it every time it moves.

the steering head bearings and races i got from a local bearing house :) cause those guys rock!

looks like the bolt had just enough wear on it that it was allowing the link to wobble. ill try it out later tonight to see if the new bolt takes care of things (i hope so, id really like to ride this bike).

id like it "new" enough that the suspension does its job properly.

    heres whats up.

put the new bolt in and still had a bit of play but when assembled there was no slack in the linkage. i figure its like a rod. you can have a bit of side to side play as long as theres no up and down play.

just need to set sag and this things ready for a ride now!
