Loud pipes save lives... Yeah thats it. Thats why after swearing I would not be modifying my TR650 as I liked it just fine stock I have gone all in on modifying it Its all about safety. So like i said I liked my TR650 stock but ended up with a DynoJet PCV and Autotune and also had some KTM 990 mufflers laying around. So what the heck. Been running the PCV for a bit and like it alot. Bike runs smooth and hard. Now i am working on the other end of it, the mufflers. I am having my machinist whip me up some adaptors and then i will fab some mounting solutions up and we'll make some noise. I run a very similar muffler on my TE511 and love it, nice sound, not to loud and makes great power. Just looking at them I bet one of these mufflers flows more than both the stock ones and two will be insane how much better it flows. Really look forward to how it affects the power after Autotune does it's magic. Fun stuff. I am really enjoying this motorcycle. Love the motor and freedom to explore it provides. Done many 200 plus mile days on it and am always amazed how good it is on the street and gravel roads. GREAT platform for exploring.
Surprisingly the stock mufflers are not very heavy when you remove them and hold them. Will weigh it all when I make the conversion next week after my adaptors on done.

BTW there is a good chance if I get these mufflers on here i will be sending my stock mufflers to Two Bros to have them work on slip ons.
That's awesome I designed the exact same ones last night. The price quote was under $300..... Guess I know what I want for Christmas!
In case anyone is interested.....Leo Vince slip-ons for the TE630 will work on the TR. The can fits nicely on the mid-pipe, but the graphite gasket can't be used. There is a slight bend in the pipe that will put the cans too close to the plastic if they are installed as intended. So mounting them with the left can on the right side and the right can on the left side will give more clearance. The TR apparently has a fatter ass than the TE. The only noticeable difference anyway was the Leo Vince decal was on the wrong side. I did the stand on the scale with the cans thing and got 14 pounds for the stock and 12.5 for the Leo Vince. I found some decibel info online for the TR. The stock readings were 79 db@ idle and 91 db @4200 RPM. The Leo Vince literature gives 94 db @ 3750 RPM for their 'silencers'. I'm no expert, but I doubt that's correct. All I know is now I hear that big single exhaust note and not a lot of valve train clatter. Time for the dancing banana.
