I just love this place. Its opening day this last saturday and did some 50 miles of switchback city. Its way the heck back in the mtns. I rode all that stuff, good riding. I like Gifford a little more as it seems more technical and WAY less bugs. Was many years and we had a group run out of gas on Tommy trail trying to make it back to camp after a long loop but there were endless trees down. Got them out the next day.
not kidding about the bugs and flys that bite. That tommy trail is way way out there. I cant even imagine running out of gas out there.
Cool scenery and what bike are you riding? Some of that was a little too vertical for me but that is what normally happens when you get towards the top of a mountain or big ridge ...
09 300. you know I am so scared of hights I get vertigo just looking at picts. Youll notice how much I was creeping along that ridge.lol The guys in front of me where gone like no big...grrrr
Nice video's. Just too technical for me. I'd probably run my bike off the edge. Beautiful mountains though.
