After wasting hours searching old threads for suppliers that no longer exist or are based out of the UK, does anyone know a current fix for the crappy Magura slave cylinder on the 09 TE510? I haven't torn it apart yet, but I assume its more than just an o-ring. I read that Uptite had a fix, but their website has been shut down. Then read some promising info from 7602, but that seems its just for the piston and o-ring (which obviously fails). Then, of course, there is OEM replacement (wouldn't have this problem if it didn't suck).

So, who currently makes the best replacement for the clutch slave cylinder in the US?

After digging a little more and getting people on the phone, I ordered the 7602 piston with x-ring and Zipty's housing. Odd that it can't be ordered together, but it was about $160 since I had to pay shipping twice. We'll see how this goes.

Thanks for your order. You can't order our piston and the Zipty housing together because we are 2 separate companies. This should be a pretty bullet proof setup. Lots of others doing the same thing.

Save yourself some money and go to walmart and find a bottle of singer sewing oil in the sewing aisle. Use that in your clutch. Only $3 a bottle

Exactly what I have been doing for years. Extra highly refined mineral oil in an easy Cary bottle for $3. Impossible to beat.

Exactly. $10+ for snake oil. I don't think so. Don't forget older husky riders advice on using gasoline to clean your air filter and oil it with ATF. No more $20 air filter cleaners.

Still got a little bit left after 1 full service of the clutch (installed the 7602 piston) and maintenance, about 5 drops after every ride.

Does anyone ever ask about the baby oil? I know my buddies would put me over the coals for that! At least I would be warm
