add FI, ebutton, a large stator, large tank, a $8500 price tag, and they would have something of interest to 5-6 fat guys like me in the off road world--or maybe make it a motard?

You have always been able to get those. A friend of mine has one, weighs more than his 04 TE450 and looks like 30 yo technology, cuz it is. :D

We could start a dirt bike sideshow with one, K. We will put the world's heaviest man on the 700 and make him cross a swamp (Talk about traction). We will call him "Swamp Thing". The Eight legged man on the 500. He can brake, shift, put two legs down and put the other two above the handle bars and click his heels together like they do in freestyle (All at the same time). We will call him "Leggo my Maico". Will put the bearded lady on the 300 so everyone will think she looks like us! Will call her the "Schick Chick".

looks about the same as my '85, '86 and '89 Maico's. Same basic motor as the '83, but you can bet I'd be first in line to try one out.

It's here now, in the form of ATK. Not a happy alliance however.

Why does the 700 use the same fork as the 250, which is smaller than the 320??

Your right! Good Eye! Have No Idea But Doesn't Make Sense.

    I will always cherish the days of CZ's Maico's Husky's Can Am's Penton's

They made alot of progress back then that even swings back around today. Take the Husky Automatic/ Rokon. Now everyone wants the Rekluse.

I thought that the Snake Pipe on a CZ was the trickest thing!

Those were the good ol days!
