250-500cc Make 09 WR rev , timing help

Does anyone know how to set the timing on a 09 wr 250 to get more rev , is it to retard or advance it , clockwise or counter clockwise a degree or two . Mine seems set to make tork more then to rev from the factory seems to be common with 09 model but not sure witch way to go . any help would be great .
