I have the twin chamber like the TC have and the top has a C on them with the arrows. I assume this is the compression and it is not on the bottom of the leg? This question sound dumb but the book that came with the bike sucks reel bad.

Yep...compression on the top and rebound on the bottom, which is opposite of the workshop manual. It confused me too.

Thanks, I need to increase the compression a bit on my front-end. The manual un-clearly states "compression" adjustment at the bottom of the forks and "extension" (=rebound?) at the top. So it is indeed backwards/opposite? If so thanks for the heads up, man that would have been frustrating to be messing with the wrong adjustments.

Also, as I was looking over the front forks, I noticed that the bottom of the forks were missing the rubber/plastic caps that cover the adjustment screw. I suppose I need these ASAP to keep the crud out of that area. Wonder if Halls would have something like that?

My 09 300 doesn't have the rubber caps either. Are they supposed to be there?

I've found out my forks are alot more plush with about ~260ML of thin oil in the outer chambers rather than the ~280ML recommended amount ... this does compromise bottoming resistance on tracks though ... but on trails, it is fine ...

Dont worry about the missing caps. Lost mine on my 06 for 3 years no issues at all. I did squirt them with wd40 every so often.

I assume that even though my 08 TE doesn't have these shocks, the compression is the top screw and rebound is the bottom screw also?

I guess I am a little confused as well. I have an 09 wr125 with 50mm marzochi forks, compression on top or bottom?
