They have been posting a lot of aerial pictures of the track on facebook Looks like a lot of fast flat land then into the stadium and thru a endurocross section made by Ty Davis then out into the flat again.
Just drove by the stadium today on the way out of town and saw part of the track. Looked cool from the side road going towards the airport. Not flat for sure.
It's on tomorrow. The high is supposed to be 57 degrees. The Enduro-X section looks to be a challenge. The rock garden doesn't look too gnarly.
1st/72OA - the 1st was by default, however. So, it's not like a real win. Happy to have done the race. I think I prefer the GP format. A real class act of an event (good job guys!). From pro racers to kids to old timers to vintage bikes to quads to beginners - something for all levels. The expo section had a lot of good stuff. Plus the FitzArmy Freestyle stuff was pretty cool. My Nephew grabbed a handful of ZipTy Racing stickers (because his Uncle rides a Husky). At 12 he's loving the new Huskys....because his Uncle rides a Husky. Lots of people....lots and lots. I pitted next to a group from Santa Clarita (near Magic Mountain) so folks were coming from a good ways away to do the event.
Here's a pic of what's left of the Zip Ty enduro cross section on the stadium I snapped a few minutes ago. Turns out I needed to come out for work my first day back and had a chance to take a look. Hey TC, those guys were from my neck o the woods. Unless something prevents it I want to race it next year.
didn't like that water mud hole jump thing...Im sure many of you racers felt the same way, Rob + airtime don't go together.
I took the Joker Lane (ha, ha - they had a bypass). I'm ok w/airtime, just not ok w/being wet/cold - to much like standing flying bridge watch in the Bering Sea.
also those mud holes are bike destroyers, and Husky ain't paying for my crapped out grit infested parts.
Here's Robby Bell at the AGP. He fast, ain't he? https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=adelanto grand prix 2015
Sutherlin is faster.........and looks gnarlier when he goes fast, he's passed me more than once, more entertaining in my opinion. (hahaha)
