Mikuni power jet carbies

    Anyone tried this set-up on a VM round slide....?? I read the blurb.. it say to reduce the main jet by 25% and then install the power jet the size of the reduction in the main jet.. so for a 420 main jet.. install a 310 (ish) main and then a 100-110 power jet...claims to provide more mid-ramge and up top also.. anyone tried one in a "vintage" application??

    i have heard they work well once dialed in, is it externally adjustable?
    lectrons use this type of setup sorta, only it is externally adjustable. turn a screw, adjust the "main" circuit

    what exactly is the "power Jet" referring to?
    they have a main jet, jet needle and needle yet on that circuit
    the main jet is only for when you get past 1/2 throttle

    The Mikuni power jet kit is indeed like the Lectron. It adds another vacuum activated circuit above the main jet that richens the fuel mixture at the very top end. This allows the main jet to cover the mid range 1/2 to 4/5ths area which allows it to be leaner, the power jet controls wide open.
