Anybody have an opinion on swapping a Mikuni TMX 38 (1999 wr 250) for a Keihin PWK 38? It's my first husky, and though i am no carb guru by any stretch of the word, i am much more familiar with the PWK. All help appreciated.

    many thanks,

    Dubbya-r.

I would absolutely do the swap, the PWK is easier to set up. I did the swap on my 300 and the bike ran 60% better.

Does the PWK fit in place just like the stocker and use the stock cable?

I agree, and although tight, it will fit right in and work with the stock cable.
