Hello guys! Today upon cleaning my bike, I've realized that there is a bolt missing on the right side of the bike that connects the cylinder to the frame. I'm not sure if i lost it or it wasnt there from the start (there is no bolt head mark or scratch on the frame where the bolt goes in.) Also there is a gap present between the frame and the cylinder where the bolt is missing and not on the other side. Missing bolt: The gap: How the connection looks like on the left side: And at last this: It seems like some kind of a bolt should go through there but it wouldn't connect to anything else! Can someone please check on their bike if it's the same case or i lost some bolts. Thank you!
Looking at some pics of other tr's i can see that that bolt is suppose to be there. Im guessing the frame is bent as well since there is that big of a gap Looking back, i did have a little accident where a lady rearended me at a stop sign striking me in the rear tire. The impact seemed kind of strong, but after examining the bike, no visible damage was done. Now im thinking that she might have bent my frame which forced the bolt to unscrew over time?? Grrrr
Happened to me too. I had put on crash bars, torqued to what I thought was the same amount, but I guess it backed out. Replaced with some stainless steel washers and medium loctite.
