Been scorching hot for this area which peaked at 107 / 109 with a lot of humidity. I decided a exploring DS ride would be fun... 110 more great miles on this machine. Running flawlessly and surprisingly good on single track. It will obviously not rail like my 09 WR125 husky but it gets the job done and is fun. Swapped with a buddy on a DRZ650 and he stated that the ATK was 9000 times better dirt bike, i think he underestimated. That is the single worst bike on the trail I have ever ridden. I think my VTR 1000 would have been EZer to ride on the trail. :smirk: Fun day... St. Helens in the background.... More off road and DSing / camping this weekend
I’ve seen that statement and I was like; oh boy I need to see that !!! So which one did you rode? The DRZ-450 or the DR-650 cause there’s no DRZ-650 and I see both the other ones in the picture
Very nice pics! The whole St Helens area is great DS fun. Once Jeff at Taskys is done with my 610 i should be spending some time camping in the Helens area, I'm ready for 3 weeks off work.
