I delivered my bike for its first service this evening and saw there were 7 more Terra's for sale, two ex demo and rest new, 5 have been sold and they told me that no more will be available after this lot! They still have the retail price and show no discounted as laid out by Husqvarna UK which is a bit cheeky! I got 23% discount at the time on a Strada now Terra so was glad that I kept haggling them for a better deal.
Am I seeing things wrong, or is that front brake line routed incorrectly on the bike in the picture? Mebbe it's the anti-lock stuff?
Interestingly only one bike on Ebay is at the r/r price quoted by H-UK. All the others are at over inflated prices. Don't pay any more! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Husqvarna-650-STRADA-/330896980735?pt=UK_Motorcycles&hash=item4d0aff3aff Perhaps it's time I put my money down !!!
That seems like a Euro Terra with ABS (I can see two lines there) and if it hasn't be changed from stock (maybe because they have graphics on the fork protectors) that would suggest because of the ABS line they route on the outside for some reason on purpose. That's the way Stradas are run and my Strada turning Terra is currently routed. I haven't tried myself, but since there's the little bracket on Terra fork protectors I bought--was going to try and see if I could swap sides without mucking things up. My marginally calibrated eyeball thinks bikes with brake line and ABS could go on the inside.
Eurosports of Asheville, NC was a BMW/Husky dealer when I bought my TR650 in October. They sold off all their Husky inventory this spring, some of it significantly discounted. I was concerned that they would drop Husky. I think they were, too. Now, they've picked up KTM and announce new Husky models to arrive soon. I like it.
