Motoplat question

    I'm planning to replace the "dead" :censored: motoplat system on my CR500 83 with a programmable ignition system.
    I know I have to run it on battery, but it's not a problem for me since it only requires a quite small battery.
    Does anyone know if the motoplat got some kind of advance curve?

    Guess it's cheaper to replace it, and it will for sure work better.

    150.00 is pretty cheap. and no Bat, lights will always work...and its OEM part...
    a few places rebuild motoplats..and a couple do SEMS...
    a PVL would work as well, no lights,..but not Bat..300.00 i think they cost..
    i ran one on a 470 works bike for a while, was awesome.
