Hey Kelly, just trying to get your attention to get the issue with the stabilizer resolved. It has been ongoing since last august now . I sent you an email today. I would REALLY love to get this resolved before the next race season starts. I know you have been busy with the carbs right now hopefully you can devote a little time to an existing customer in getting this stabilizer issue resolved. Thanks David Taplay
Hey Kelly, Just following up again. I sent you email last week about replacement stabilizer for new 2013 gas gas. Let me know what is up please.
As I said, we are out of stock, they are at the anodizers, should have them back and built up next week. Just so everyone knows as this sounds like he is slamming me he lost his damper and needs a replacement. BTW i am not fooling around with carbs and disregarding you. We are a smaller shop and can only do so much at once.
Well I'm never ordering anything from you... Except a steering stabilizer, skid plate, and couple rotor guards Sorry, just me trying to ease the tension I know, I'm really not funny
To be clear I am not slamming Kelly, he has always helped me out in the past with no issues. It just seems like timing has been off each time I have attempted to get a replacement and there has not been any stock at that time. To further change the issue since 1st attempting to get a replacement I have switch bikes and gone to a 2013 gas gas. Yes I lost my stabilizer during a rough wooped out sand race last year, I have no idea how or why it happened and I was never blaming Kelly for it, I was just simply trying to get a replacement. I like the way his stabilizer worked, its simplicity in adjustment, and its low profile design. I felt it really helped to raise my game and gave me that little extra confidence in certain race situations that allowed me to continue to push instead of backing off in those situations. It is probably one of the key additions to my bike in 2012 that help me to win the championship in my class, and subsequently led to the sponsorship this year with the new bike. At this point I could have cut my loses and just gone and bought any other stabilizer as I need a new mount and stabilizer, but I like the motosportz one and would like to get it replaced. Unfortunately we had not been able to get that to happen up until now. But it sounds like things should be sorted this week. I simply put the post up to remind Kelly as I know he has been busy with other things and I don't like to constantly keep bugging people, so I thought this would be an easier way to keep the topic current.
Yup, that Kelly, he's a sneaky fellar... He probably snuck out to that sand track and ran off with your dismounted stabilizer. He's probably polishing it up right now, getting ready to sell it back to ya...
I shipped you a damper, GG mounting plate and some parts. VERY sorry about this. My life is a bit of a mess this last few weeks with my mom sick then passing. To many excuses. Will send tracking number soon. When you get it and if you feel you want to pay something my way I'll leave that up to you. Again, very sorry, this should have never happened like this, I feel bad. Kelly Mz
Did you ever get your damper from Kelly. I have a 2012 GasGas. I have called 2 - 3 times / week and sent 2 emails per week. But no call back or emails. I really want to buy one from him but not sure how when I cannot get any response. Thanks
I just read this, sorted through my emails and found you. Very sorry about the delay. I just sent you this and should be able to fit you up a kit just need to make sure on the frame clamp as I get a lot of conflicting info on the models, frames and fitment and don't have a fleet of GG's to check. I sent you this question... " The issue i have right now is the frame clamp. I have everything else back in stock. Can you measure the head tube and send that to me as I am confused on the 2010/2011/2013 and the various models as I keep getting conflicting information Let me know and I should be able to get one out to you today / tomorrow. " Let me know. thanks Kelly
Sometimes even email is not the best way to get a hold of us manufacturers. I am thankful for this forum, it makes it much easier.
People get busy. I ordered a steering stabilizer from Motosportz last night. I was hoping for a confirmation letter from them, but nothing yet. I did get an email from PayPal stating the order was placed. I like it when a company person actually sends a separate email stating an order was received, and that they're working on fulfilling the order. It's nice, makes me feel like someone out there cares a little. I realize this isn't possible with smaller shops. Customer service is so important, but it takes up a lot of extra time when many customers are all asking for things at the same time. This forum is a great place to sort things out.
Was out of the office yesterday. Got your order, sent you an Email. All is good. Thanks guys. - Email is always the best for me, wear a ton of hats and am running parts etc so I can check it anywhere. Kelly
