FYI note, Our (fast) MST class rider swore he would not use a damper anymore and preferred the quick steering feel with good stability of the modern machines (like his 300 Kato), for our tight trail preferred riding. However his new machine, a 250xf-w came with a Motosportz damper installed (as well as more bling imaginable from the previous owner). He has eaten crow and now swears by his damper in use and as a well designed and executed product (style,mounting,adjustability) (we all set ours at minimal settings), just an FYI product info thread. Note also: he is very experienced in all things moto his resume in the industry is extensive and long.
