Met another guy from New Zealand today and he was riding this MotoStar bike ...First, I gotta say, I'm with New Zealanders(?) till further notice ... This fellow was such a pleasure to ride with ... Island people always seem to have such a good attitude and outlook on life :) ..Certainly hope he stays around Cebu ...

Here's the CORP profile for this bike:

Eastworld Motor Industries Corporation (EMIC) is the exclusive Assembler and Distributor of Filipino brand MOTORSTAR Motorcycles and Scooters with its head office located at 304 3rd St. corner 10th Avenue Caloocan City.

A little bit confusing on all the words there, but the bike is here ...I'm riding with another top2x notch guy from Ireland, not quit as good a rider as the man from Zooland, who has the new honda 150L bike .. Lots of questions to be answered such as longevity and such but after seeing what I did today, I'll purchase this MotoStar bike before that honda .. It costs a little less, just looked and performed as a harder bike ... Not Husqvarna hard but harder than that honda ... Seen others here toss those 230cc hondas also as they were just to soft ...

Yep, we were in the highlands here ...No rain but it was still very cool riding as always...

Price tag: ~$1,300. Can you dig-it? I should buy a couple and go back into the dirt bike touring stuff ... My Huskies worked in the past for giving tours around here but as I've said numerous times here, everyone does not need or even want to ride a hard-a$$ bike such as a Husqvarna.

$1,300.00..... I'd take a chance! Yep it's fun to ride with good people no matter what type of bike.

Bike types\brands really mean zero unless you gotta pull one home too often ...

Seeing these different types of bikes is really pretty cool ... This guy was riding a 300 ktm back in New Zealand so he knows what a real bike feels like and he did not get off the MSX and say this or that sucked ... He did say there is too big a ratio gap between 1st and 2nd and 5th might short ... I'll get a top speed from him later ... A 6speed tranny cures lots of gearing issues and can help hide a ~weak engine or make a strong one better...

That bike came with much better tires than the honda and a disc brake on the rear ... There are a couple guys with the new 250cc hondas ...All 4 fork seals when out very quickly on both bikes from ~90% hardtop riding ... And yes I understand honda is the motorcycle\motorcycle parts supplier of the world today.

Today, it's all about the front fender (I'll give bwm the crown there) when it comes to the plastics ... I bent the fender on my 02 CR250 flat up against its' number plate twice from trees in GPNF and all it did to it was turn it a ~whiter color from the bends from the original yellow.

Found these on their web site ...Dual shocks and running boards on the rear of one model ... Customized for the mountain work here.... Both 4speeds
