I got the Desert HT (rear) a couple weeks ago from Motosportz replacing the IT Enduro, which also kicks ass especially during the winter months and muddy conditions. So I finally got it mounted on Friday and went up to Elkin's Flat yesterday to try it out on some woods trails. These tires really shine on dry compact surface. One thing that really stood out, for example, is when riding on steep uphill trails where sometimes you are forced into a rut this tire continued to grab and pull you right out of the rut never loosing traction. Same thing on rocky, rooty uphills. I felt more confident to tackle even some black diamond trails yesterday, which is something I don't usually do on my big ol' 610. Bottom line is a fresh knob on the rear makes all the difference in the world and these HT's kick ass !! BTW,props to Motosportz for great service. I placed my order via e-mail on a late Tues. evening, rec'd an e-mail on Wed. saying it's been shipped and that I will get it on Fri. Guess what... It was at my door on Thurs. The next day !
