Has anyone put the 140-80-18 Motoz Tractionator H/T on a TE610? The tire looks pretty wide. I ordered a 130 to be safe...

    I reckon a 130 will be great.

This is for NZ Dusty Butt - looks like lots of gravel, loose rocks, some water crossings - not so much sand or mud from what I can tell. Good to hear the 140s fit.

Hi Jondirt, i run a Tractionator HT in 140 size on my TE630 here in NZ and had put a new one on for the Dusty Butt.
I have found they are a great tyre for rocks and hard surfaces and last better thatn most others on that type of terrain.

Unfortunately my new Safari fuel tank is leaking so i cant take the Husky and will be DR650 mounted instead.

Re: Safari - I went to a bike shop in Dunedin and they sanded down the brass threaded inserts for the bolts on the Safari, and then used Wurth Super Etc-Silicone Black sealant - the tank is now dry. It only took a day - I'm guessing you tried something similar, and also considered riding the husky and carrying extra fuel, and decided for the simpler option?

Unfortunately, I crashed on my shoulder and think I am out of the Dusty Butt :-(

A while ago I saw a guy I know with a Motoz Tractionator on his TE610 and was having problems with it hitting the exhaust. I am not sure of the size though.

Running the 130 on my 511 with no issues. The 140 is only slightly wider.

Actually been doing a little test on my 165 and running the 19" Motoz HT int he winter with lower pressures. I like the robustness of this tire (don't think i have ever had a flat with one) and it is working well. Very odd choice for a 125 in the winter but works well. I think they work surprisingly well in the mud when mounted backwards.

I am going to take a knobby knife to them and make it a slightly more open pattern. Did this on my 511 and liked the results.
