I'm trying to mount a thermo fan to my 07 TE450, it would be really convenient to fit one behind the radiator guard between the guard and radiator, there is enough room to fit one but is it a good idea to mount it there?? I assume the gap is to allow the guard to bend without damaging the radiator?? ideally I'd like to have it behind the radiator to pull the air through, also less likely to get damaged, but it would take heaps more effort to do. any thoughts??

probably not what you want to hear but behind the radiator is much better. Maybe others can help!

thanks Bagman, I'm going to try to put it behind the radiator. I'd be so angry with myself if it caused any damage, just because I was too lazy to try.
