Congratulations to Mr. McElrath on his KTM ...He's our 9th place overall AMA MX rider this yr... Nice of him to show our guests the way around our track. Nelson finished 5th overall this yr... McElrath afterwards made the race sound like a walk in the park because he was rode there so much ... Lets hope our guys left something in the tank for the racing tomorrow.. Here is Covington after his holeshot ... -- The MX2 guys are still trying to find a champ even after HR84 stopped riding 2 months ago? ..Anyway, their champ will be crowned here in the states ... Looks weird with all those low and non-events recorded at the top level of their riders. Not to take anything away from their young riders, but you will have a hard time convincing me these riders are in the same level as JM1 or Cooper or some of our other 250cc riders ... The guy in 8th place is the rider who beat JH84 last yr ... It does seem like both groups of 250cc riders have more incidents during the yr than their 450 counterparts ... Seems these 250cc guys are swinging for the fences if they are ever given a chance ...
yawn .... Our young American riders swept the place Certainly hope SP puts a top rider on a 250cc bike next yr .. America has a rider or 2 that can promote his bikes well I do think after that wiping ... -- In the MX2 class I went for Valentin Guillod to win the title and proved to be totally wrong, and then I went for Pauls Jonass and again got it wrong, so I am going for the safe bet in Tim Gajser to be crowned World MX2 Champion in America. Who wins the MX2 class is a good guess, maybe Anstie, followed by Gajser and Jonass? I can’t see AMA 250 guys who are riding running with this pack. These words are from mxlarge.com ... Incompetent at best from a professional writer ...
