My 09 450te

I was converted to a Husky4life attitude in Feb 2007,a romantic affair with my old 07 510te. I had numerous laughs,tears,and dripping wounds with that 07. These glorious few years have brought me to the conclusion that I feel happy on a Husky. I sold the 510 to a friend of mine last month,who hates his XR after watching the Husky and I floating around the trail while he was plowing thru every rock like a dozer tears up the landscape. My riding buddy is tickeled pink with the way the Husky handles and the snappy motor delivery for the tight trails we do.

Being without a Husky in the garage was like dragging your knuckeles thru sharded glass with lemon juice. There are other bikes in the garage but I just couldn't fathom not riding a Husky. I made a call to a dealer and picked up a leftover 09 450 te. I babied her easy for a couple of weeks on pavement and a little short dirt sections I have near the house.
Yesterday was the first real offroad ride I had with her. I was able to ride lots of singletrack,some super steep hillclimbs,and creek crossings. I find that the new frame really turns easier without the freight train feel, the motor is fairly strong for a 450, and the boingy's will need a little more break-in but are really good out of the box. I am happy now.

Congrats. I have the same bike. The handling is truly phenomenal, isn't it? The boingy's get better. At 1300 miles the rear is fantastic, front still seems to be improving.

What do you mead by boingy's? I just got hte 2009 Te 450 also power down low is great not top end.
