    Hi there,
This is Sam writing from Thailand.
My dirt bike, 2014 Husqvarna FE450, has
a broken ignition cover (part no. 78130002300KA) In a difficult trail It wheelied and fell to the left and very unfortunately there was sturdy rock with sharp edges which pierced a small hole to the cover.
As a result also a bent left side radiator, it is not yet leaking but I am prepared to buy both left and right side radiator and change them.
    parts I need.
    part no. part name
    77035007300, RADIATOR L/S "55623U" 12 1
    78035008100 RADIATOR R/S "55556U" 12
    7733503400030 RADIATOR PROTECTION BLACK 07
    78130002300KA IGNITION COVER
I have been in contact with the dealership here who I bought the bike from and it's been 2 months and I called the office twice a month, until now they cannot answer me about when I will get the parts.
My bike is sitting there for months, my alternative is the KTM Freeride 350 but it does not ride the same at all.
I sent many emails to online parts shop and the answers I got are mostly, 'sorry we cannot export OEM parts"

Any idea about how I can solve this problem? I mean, in first world countries if you have a broken part you can at least order it and know when it is about to arrive, correct? Over there it is like, "I will check for you, I call back two weeks later, and I will check for you...."

I want to write to Husqvarna's HQ to order parts but it was not possible though. I am really desperate. I've taken out the ignition cover and try to find a good welder to repair the hole. I am really not happy about Husqvarna's local dealership's service though.

    Best regards,
    Sam

Thats the thing about Halls and American retail in general. They understand consumers and respond accordingly. The Nuf Nuffs in the rest of the world of retail should have noted this at least 30 years ago. PARTICULARLY rip off Aussie retailers. I am happy to use the net these days. Our retailers had a chance and would rather hold price, provide crap service and see their market erode rather than adjust to the times. Enough said, except good on Halls again.

Thanks for the heads up about Halls for parts.

Years ago getting parts was a big problem. Even for bikes in the late 90's. We have Halls but I wish we had a factory 1-800 number for expediting factory orders for parts much quicker. This is the only down fall to the husqvarna bikes. I love my husqvarna bikes and refuse to ride anything else.
