Hey guys! New here from street bikes on to supermotos. I am looking to get out of the go fast scene and concentrate more on better riding ability. Here is my R6 that I customized to my liking, loved the look of this bike and was sad to see it go but riding it for 3 years, putting 12k on it and selling it for $200 less than I bought it for was a win for me. And here is the 2008 Husq Sm610 I drove 19 hours round trip to get. Please keep in mind the thing is dirty in this picture (lol) I am hoping for your approval that I got a deal on this. 2008 610 with 2,115 miles owned by an older guy probably in his 50s for $3800. It came with the original side plastics as well as the black ones pictured, a new Scorpion EXO400 helmet I will sell, hand guards not pictured and extra decals he ordered. Glad to be here! Now to customize it to my liking!
Also, for my R6 I found a 400+ page online owners manual for the bike that had complete tear down/reassembly of the bike and everything you ever need to know. Is something like that available online for this bike?
Well you did good!!! That is a great price and with low miles too!!! The SM is a different ride then the R6. not just in the obvious but how you ride it! You will like it!!! I have an 06 SM610 and love that bike!! Enjoy it with lots of knowledge and help here!!
Welcome to the dark side You'll never get rid of it, and after you fine-tune your new riding technique, you'll find the SM to be quite an ego-buster for your literbike-riding friends (until they have a straight stretch, that is)
Nice, I think you did very good Now, change the oil+filter, remove those rubber inserts from the foot pegs, do this; http://www.cafehusky.com/threads/08-emissions-canister.2017/ then do this; http://www.cafehusky.com/threads/de-catting-a-std-09-610.16972/ and then do this; http://supermotojunkie.com/showthre...ower-Up-Kit-Lambda-Bypass-Fuel-Injected-610SM and then go do a wheelie and be happy
