I have been running a Kenda 270 on the back of my 02 CR250 husky all summer. I like it. Not the ultimate tire but works very well for me. I tried this in an effort to save money as I hear they last a long time and I'm tired of blowing through 5-6 tires a summer. Been doing great in the dry but figured it would have to come off for my wet weather NW clay riding. Yesterday we got a break in the rain and headed out. Wet. slick, rocks, roots and clay. Tire did great. Was climbing as well or better then the knobs on the 3 other bikes. I run about 5-7 PSI the whole 750 miles I have run it and zero issues. It is very similar in use to a trials tire in that it like more controlled riding, does not like big handfuls of throttle, is not great on braking, works great til it breaks loose then is slick. I ride my 2 strokes below the pipe much of the time, short shifting and using the bottom end power. This works great for this tire. Like a trails tire if you like to grab handfuls of throttle and slide the ass end you will hate it. I might not run it in a race but might. We climbed many a steep and slick hill yesterday and I was very impressed with this tire. Was not expecting it to work well. At about 600 miles I took my 4" cut off wheel and siped the tire (made slots across the knobs) and think this helped a lot and does not seem to have hurt the tire at all. These are good tires for rocks as well. Robust and do not chunk. Tire still has a lot of miles let in it and seems to work just as well if not better as it wears. Really happy with this tire for general trail riding abuse.

BTW I am running a Goldentyre front i got from ZipTy. It too is holding up amazingly well, has crazy good stopping power (good with the Kenda rear) seems to work on everything and is my hands down favorite front tire now. This for me is a fantastic long lasting combo for abusive off road riding.

Ran these for a while and agree they are a very underrated general purpose tire. They did suffer in deep sticky mud but otherwise weren't bad.
Heading out for a rocky run tomorrow and just recut my S12's the same way, wasn't sure it was a good idea but feel better about it now.

    Thanks for another great review.
