Was supposed to go ride dirt with Jake Sunday but was wiped out and my stuff was a mess. After getting a text from him on the trail was pissed and finished up some clean up around the house so I could go ride my Terra. My 9yo daughter and I plan on semi remote camping in a few weeks and I wanted to explore some new possible areas to camp. So hop on the TR650 and take off. Found what I was looking for, we are going to have a great camping trip.

The Terra is impressing me more the more I won it and play with it. The motor seems stronger every ride. I have just over 2000 miles on it now and it just loves to go. the suspension also seems to be more compliant and I am still fining it is nice balance for inexpensive non adjustable stuff.

I did do a few upgrades since last ride. Installed the tall handlebar risers and Trailtech bars. I also removed the rubber pads on the footpegs. These two things made the bike FAR better off road. It is a stunning transformation and i feel so much more confident on it off road. The control is much much better. Did a lot of jeep type roads and lots of gravel and the bike worked great. As for most modifications there wa sa trade off. There is more buzz through the bars and pegs. It is not uncomfortable for me but noticeable for sure.

Bike once again performed near flawlessly, made me feel like I could go anywhere and look at anything. Exactly what I bought this bike for. Love the massive versatility. Slogs down the highway at 70 no problem and rips jeep roads like a fat TE511. Fun.

Oh also notice my underbar mirrors which helped greatly with the high speed oscillation on the highway and my bungy cord rear fender support which works great.

Mt Adams is just to my right here and Rainer straight head. Endless exploring to Canada from here.

playing with photo editing. I am parked right on the edge of a lava field here as you can see the flow rock behind the bike.
