Airoh- Antonio Italian Research of Helmets......the new Aviator Argentina 6 Days commemorative. What y'all think? Agentine colors blend nice with the Husky theme yes?
Very nice looking helmet I must say. Never put an Airoh on my head, so can't comment on fit. So far, Arai fits my head the best. I just got one a couple of weeks ago on a closeout - got a great deal.
Looks good , kind of surprised by the last review on them in MXA . I have one and couldn't disagree more.
Looks good and Airoh is probably best ventilated for your climate. I still love my Arai's and my new VX-Pro4 matches pretty well....
Anybody having issues with the visor breaking on the Airoh? Couple of friends have them and broke them quickly.
my older one broke 1 time seemed a little more brittle than other brands--however there are engineering safety parameters that they need to adhere to for the EU spec and a visor that breaks off more easily prevents it getting caught up and snapping your neck, I know that's why they use plastic visor screws, they are designed for spec controlled shear strength.
I loved my Airoh Dome but sadly I busted the visor last weekend and they discontinued them so no visor to be found (even in Europe). I am actually getting a LS2 mx456 today, worth a shot.
I've saw some old visors that were made of rubber .. No breaking but the one I saw might have been a little heavy ...
What lid is it ive got a couple for the running man lid, 2013 one am in uk, have you got the old broken one? Send it my way i can see if i can make a mould and fab one out of two layers of fiberglass or carbon.
Its the Airoh dome party helmet, 1/2 the peak is laying in the woods somewhere so that might not help. Plastic clips are gone as well. That's what you get for making your own "hot line" haha.
The Airoh 6 days Is sweet though! They are very comfortable vented well also, at least the terminator I tried was.
all the new Aviator 2.1s are nice. It looks the #1 choice six days graphic models are on BO (Italian BO can mean 1 week or 6 months!!), so we are checking on the #2 choice Linear Bicolor 2015 and #3 Jeremy Van Horebeek replica. Van Horebeek is 3 because it has a lot of black in the graphics-- for us light sun reflective colors are best. http://www.airoh.com/helmets/off_road
I repaired a Airoh visor with some flexible epoxy and carbon fiber for one of my Beta customers. He bought it from Europe, and the the American importer will only help if it is a DOT version that they bring in, which makes sense to me.
Crap never mind just checkd out a few pics the visor looks too conplex for me to backwards copy it, would of given it a shot tho.
