Oh man, I don't understand how people can wait to ride their bike until they've got all the farkles on it. I get wanting to have it set up the way you like, but to have it just sitting there and not at the very least taking it out to get it broken in and stuff is just beyond me. I couldn't do it.

I'm waiting on a skid plate. It is being shipped out today. Sure I can take it out, but it would be a total bummer if a rock or something dammaged the frame or the under side of the engine. Then I wouldn't be able to ride it for a longer period of time. Just saying....

get that h cam out and slam some trails asap, be sure to hit all the high speed comp stuff---sharp rocks and logs. I really want to know how the AER 48 handles HSCD stuff.

No skid plate included with the bike??? I use the stock one with an Obie linkage guard add on and ride lots of rock and the plastic holds up really well. I punched too many holes in aluminum in the past and now prefer the plastic but ymmv

Only the TE comes with a skid plate. No skid plate comes on the TX 300. I know, stupid right. I am getting the SXS Skid plate & Link Guard. It is the same Skid plate on Graham Jarvis's Te 300.....

I went for my first ride today on my 2017 Husqvarna TX 300. Went with a buddy who has a 2014 KTM 200 xc-w. 3/4 through the ride I let him ride my bike home and I rode his KTM 200. A few things I noticed was the feeling of how well planted the Husky felt in the front end. The power on the husky comes on from right down low. Does putting in the milder spring help with this, or should I first try changing the cam in the throttle? The Rekluse clutch worked great. Never stalled the bike once. I will install the James dean Jet Kit Tomorrow and change out the Transmission oil. The Tubeless Kit I installed worked flawlessly.

    Hi

Good to hear the new bikes tickng all the right boxes for ya.
Yeah I'd try the green spring for a start.

I really like those handguards, is there any chance you could take another pic from a riders view as interested in how they look from that angle and how they mount etc.

    Cheers
    Ben

You can adjust the dolly screw for your power valve in a bit first. I kinda like the yellow spring but most of the guys I know run the Omg red spring.

Best to follow the user manual, it's covered in there. Easy stuff. Also Slavens Racing does a nice video covering it.
