I always host my pictures from a website, but I thought I would try adding an attachment, and don't seem to be having a problem. I am not sure what you are doing. If you are trying to upload an attachment, it needs to be a certain size, preferably 800X600 or slightly larger. Should be in a file on your computer. Click on the upload a file option below the text box on the thread post you are trying to put your picture in. Select the file. The file should load. Then it will ask you to select thumbnail or full image.

These 2 posts are completely unacceptable.

Here is a thread that describes how to attach a picture, or show a picture from another site like photo bucket, flicker, etc. And for the record, if you attach a picture it should be automatically resized if it is too big (but there is an upper limit)

Though it should be completely obvious, I will state the obvious: any content/pictures that only you can see, such as an attachment in an email, cannot directly be shared with others i.e. you cannot show a picture by posting a link to an email attachment.

The next time something like this happens, I would appreciate it if someone could click on the Housekeeping button. It was blind luck I found this thread.

I logged out just to see what my posted pictures looked like. When I'm logged in, I get a full sized and a thumbnail. When I logged out, I got two thumbnails. So even if it works, you still get a different view of things if you aren't logged in.
