    Guys....

I need a clutch basket bad mine is extremely grooved and I have been working around it while riding but will be going on one hell of a ride over thanksgiving and I need this to be fixed.

I basically need a very good condition used basket or if you know where to get a new one I am probably game.

Let me know if you happen to know of any that may interchange.

I am on a nonexistent budget so cheaper the better. Thanks!

I bought mine (original) from Halls (see add on this site) and i was pleasantly supriced by the price they asked for it

not worth wile to look for a second hand one in mine opinion.

How much was it? Hundred or hundreds? lol....only reason im in a pinch is because i need that clutch basket and a pro circuit silencer that has a spark arrestor....and I need it like yesterday so im kinda boned.

I was going to skip this ride but now im kinda forced into it.

Have you tried filing the grooves out ? You can usually do this once.

    I was pleasantly surprised

I have a new Oring so I should be good there.

Filing is NOT an option, were talking grooves so bad the plates wouldnt come out without catching hard....

Give Bryon a call at Bill's. They are parting out an 01 and it has Fast by Ferracci Billet clutch in it. I am sure he could have it in your hands over night. I don't know its condition but it would be worth a call.

I also have a stock one out of an 01 too that needs a bit of attention. It is a bit notched too but doesn't sound like it is anywhere near as bad as yours. I could get it spiffed up for you if you are interested. It won't be as good as new or the Billet clutch basket if it is in decent shape. When you file the notches out they do tend to reform quicker.

Thanks wally I bought the fast by ferraci basket it was in "like new" condition they said.

250$ but I figure that was cheaper than ANYONE could get a OEM.

Also FYI the basket is like 50$ but the transfer gear and bushings make the rest. Unfortunately the bushings are no longer produced so you cannot rebuild an older basket unless your bushings are good.

You will spend easily over 300$ thanks to ktm pricing on a basket for one of these :(
