There are three vents from the airbox. 1 goes to the crankcase, but neither of my other 2 go to anything. One of them was capped off but the other I believe was left open. I'm guess one of the vent may have gone to the canister but that was removed by the dealer when I bought the bike. A few weeks ago I went through a REALLY deep river crossing (dumbest thing I've ever done on a bike) and got water in the airbox. I removed the short piece of hose that was capped and attached to one of the vents to drain the water but when I went to reattach it I realized I wasn't sure which vent it was supposed to go on. You can see the two vents where my two fingers are:
The one behind the crankcase hose should have a short clear hose that's capped. That's for the breather. Clean air side. The front one is a drain, dirty air side.
